Bargaining Team

The LEA negotiates all employee Contracts and, when necessary, Memorandums of Agreement (MOA) for its members. An MOA is a written document describing a cooperative relationship between two parties wishing to work together to meet an agreed upon objective. The MOA serves as a legal document that clarifies or amends terms of an existing contract.

The bargaining team meets frequently with administration and the Lexington School Committee, and keeps members updated – either through direct communication or through updates done by building reps – as the process unfolds.

The Unit A Bargaining Team 2022-2023 includes the following LEA members:

Avon Lewis, Jill Coleman (MTA), Amanda Laskowski (Bridge), Kim Carl (Bowman/Harrington), Mayumi Nakamura (Bowman), Remy Coombs (Diamond), Troy Lemay (Diamond), Valya Sountsova (LHS), Gretchen Segars (LHS), Robin Strizhak (LHS), Erica Traub (Estabrook), Dana Silverberg (Clarke), Jen Kuhn (Estabrook), Chris Brainard (Diamond), Cara Johnson (Fiske), Matthew Small (Fiske), Mary Seymourian (LCP), Krystal Velazquez (Estabrook), Maureen McKenna (Hastings).
